Client Requirement
SAP@Gitex builds event apps your attendees will want to use. We came up with an event promotion app and web application delivering the best web and mobile event experience for the end user. This event promotion app will let the user access, browse and manage the event agenda on the go.
The app allows you to set reminders for future; past or today’s agendas adding value to the
event right at your finger tips. The app features a neatly organized set of buttons that allows the user to have comprehensive and detailed information of the event on the go.
The app includes:
- Agenda Sessions: Access your event agenda anywhere and anytime and manage your profile,browse event content while you are travelling to or from the event right from your mobile app.Get the day-wise business event information inside your mobile application and keep yourself informed by setting the agenda event reminders.
- Push Notifications: The push notification will notify the user about the upcoming events or any changes to the business events through an App Control Panel.
- Resources: The user can access the marketing collaterals, event specific documents or pdf’s pertaining to technology or industry solutions which are going to be showcased in the event.
- Image Gallery: The gallery displays the images of a day-wise event which is great for any business. The user can browse and upload the images and can take necessary action.
- Request for a Meeting: Request for a meeting by sending your name, email id and topic to support you further on any of the SAP & Mobility solutions that fits your business.
Project Challenges
The team faced the following challenges:
- Cross-platform compatibility for different resolutions for iPhone, iPad, Android and Windows Phone.
- Integration of calendar facility for each platform like iOS, Android and Windows.
- Smooth running of the application for iPhone, iPad with optimized resolution.
- Neat event organization while maintaining user’s privacy and security.
- Help users plan their schedules, navigate the event and easily contact the event
exhibitor.
